Notes:
- Amount of recoil depend on player stance and movement. Crouching and aiming down the sights gives the lowest possible amount of the recoil.
Strategy:
- Two body-shots will kill a Stalker or any type of Clot, Gorefasts will take four (three if used by a level 20 or higher Commando making use of the Single Fire or Autofire talent), and Crawlers only take one. Two headshots will decap a Bloat.
- With its high damage and expensive (by Commando standards) ammo, it is generally considered overkill for use against weaker zeds.
- The SCAR is best used in semi-auto mode when engaging targets at distance, as its high recoil makes automatic fire difficult to keep on target.
