Technical Information:
Damage (Instant Explosion) = 60. Radius (Instant Explosion) = 5m. Falloff = Linear.
Damage Type = Fire.
Upon impact with the surface Molotov Grenade explodes instantly and then creates 5 Residual Flames. Residual Flames persist on the ground and do damage to ZEDs for a short period of time.
Residual Flame: Damage = 10. Radius = 1.5m. Damage Interval = 0.5s. Duration = 10 seconds for Firebug and 5 seconds for Survivalist. Residual Flames do full damage within their radius (has no falloff).
Damaging ZED with either Instant Explosion of Residual Flame makes it suffer from Damage Over Time.
Afterburn DOT: Damage Scale (of respective damage values) = x0.5. Duration = 3s. Damage Interval = 0.5s.
Burn power, per damage tick of all types = 10.
Note that at time there can exist only one type of Fire DOT. By any means only the most effective DOT in terms of total damage (i.e. Damage x Duration / Interval) will be applied at ZED. Each time ZED takes fire damage game picks up such DOT and applies it on ZED (overwrite current DOT if current DOT is less effective).
Additionally when utilized by Firebug, Molotov Grenades has extended duration - Residual Flames lasts for 10 seconds unlike Survivalist's 5s duration. Firebug's Molotov also capable of spawning a lighting source (flare). Flare lasts for up to 31 second and starting to fad e out after 27.5 seconds since the creation.
Notes:
- Instant explosion spawns a Residual Flames.
- Amount of Residual Flames = 5.
- Residual Flame does full damage (no falloff).
- Instant explosion spawns a light source (Firebug only).
