The lever action rifle (or LAR) is a low-cost, high-damage rifle designed for precision shots. It is one of the cheapest weapons in the game, and serves its purpose well into the later waves. A sufficiently-levelled sharpshooter can deal in excess of 600 points of head damage. Its drawbacks are its fairly slow (almost 1 second) fire rate, and the per-round reloading that it uses.
Strategy
- Aiming for the head is very important, since it doubles the damage dealt.
- Avoid using for large crowds, since the low fire rate and long reloading times will cause you to be overwhelmed before long.
