So why did Horzine spend billions developing their own radio telescope array on the moon that's 100% self-sufficient? Did they detect the presence of alien life or an impending asteroid disaster? Have they discovered that aliens prefer Hendrix over Garth? And what about the zeds? Surely they aren’t involved? Or are they?”

Moonbase is an official map for Killing Floor. It was added with the release of the Twisted Christmas 2012 event.
Details
It is unique to other maps in that it has low gravity, which applies to both players and specimens.
In this map, the low gravity lets you jump higher, throw money farther and use shotguns to propel yourself through the air. The Patriarch and Husks can aim and fire their weapons while mid air. Players can also fire the LAW without having to be on the ground.
Available is the Zed Eradication Device, of which players must find its 16 parts before it can be obtained. After achieving this, it may be purchased from the trader in any map.
