The Zed Eradication Device is a weapon that fires bolts of plasma. In addition, it comes with a motion tracker and the ability to generate a stasis field to slow specimens down.
It is obtained by collecting all 16 parts in Moonbase. It is available in other maps, should you have unlocked it.
The Zed Eradication Device can also be obtained by using the console command "ZED" on some some maps. Cheats must be enabled.
