P 38 Pistol
The Walther P38 is a 9 mm semi-automatic pistol that was developed by Walther as the service pistol of the Wehrmacht at the beginning of World War II. It was intended to replace the costly Luger P08, the production of which was scheduled to end in 1942. Though it continued throughout the war.
Design
The P38 was the first locked-breech pistol to use a double-action/single-action (DA/SA) trigger (the earlier double-action PPK was an unlocked blowback design, but the more powerful 9x19mm Parabellum round used in the P38 mandated a locked breech design). The P38 is a semi-automatic pistol using a 8-round detachable single-stack magazine. It is effective up to 50m, it uses a fixed iron sight system set to not to take in account for bullet drop. The P38 is equipped with a standard walnut colored hand grip, at level 25 you recieve access to a black hand grip.
Gameplay
In game it uses 8 round magazines, it has a good degree of accuracy and rate of fire, but lacks stopping power. It's an good all around sidearm, but beaten by the C96 because of it's lack of stopping power and upgrades.
