A simple headshot will bring these down with almost any weapon.  
- Slashers are low threat enemies, but are more dangerous than the other Clot variants due to their higher speed and damage. Getting surrounded by Slashers can result in a huge amount of damage being taken.<br />
- They can be dispatched with a single headshot from any weapon (except the [[9mm Pistol_(Killing_Floor_2)|9mm Pistol]] when not used by a [[Gunslinger_(Killing_Floor_2)|Gunslinger]] with Bone Breaker skill, or a [[Commando_(Killing_Floor_2)|Commando]] with the Backup skill.)<br />
- On early waves, ammunition can be saved by switching to the Knife as a single swing can decapitate a Slasher when aimed at the neck or the head.<br />
