The scythe is a high-power melee weapon dealing the highest damage (per swing and per second) of any melee weapon, and costs slightly more than the chainsaw and katana, but less than the claymore. It can damage multiple enemies in a single swing.

While it weighs twice as much as the katana and costs a little more, it does significantly more damage per swing. However, it has a much lower swing speed.

This weapon is part of the community weapon pack #1.

Strategy

• It is especially important that you are accurate with your swings, since the swing speed is among the lowest of all melee weapons. Every swing counts.
