The National Liberation Front(NLF), also known as the Vietcong, was a political organization with its own army - People's Liberation Armed Forces of South Vietnam (PLAF) that operated in South Vietnam and Cambodia. The NLF had both guerrilla and regular army units. The NLF had conducted both small-scale insurgencies and participated in regular combat with the help and support of the NVA.
